However, in the unlikely event of an issue, we aim to address it promptly and effectively. Below is our detailed warranty policy, categorized for easy understanding:

1. General Warranty Terms

  • All products are tested rigorously before dispatch.
  • If an issue arises, we first attempt to resolve it via telecommunication.
  • If the issue persists and qualifies under warranty, we provide repair services as required.
  • Warranty period:
    • Motor: 2 years.
    • Controller: 1 year.

2. Warranty Coverage

The warranty covers the following:

  1. Manufacturing Defects:
    • All mechanical and electrical components of the motor, except nylon gears, are covered for manufacturing defects.

3. Exclusions from Warranty

The following scenarios and products are not covered under warranty:

  1. Expired Warranty Period
    • Products that have surpassed the specified warranty period.
  2. Non-Compliance with Usage Norms
    • Products not used according to prescribed operational guidelines.
    • Use of accessories incompatible with the motor or controller.
  3. Excluded Products
    • Accessories other than the controller.
  4. Tampered or Modified Products
    • Products that are modified or serviced by unauthorized personnel.
    • Products without serial numbers.
  5. Hardware, Water, or Overload Damage
    • Hardware Damage: Includes damage due to accidents, misuse, abuse, or neglect.
    • Water Damage: Harm caused by water ingress beyond the design conditions.
    • Overload Damage: When motors are run with a payload exceeding 120 kg or required to provide torque beyond their capacity.

4. Decision Process for Damage Assessment

  • The type and extent of damage will be assessed by AutoForest.
  • The company’s decision regarding the damage type and warranty eligibility will be final.
  • Customers will be informed about the assessment and repair procedures before repairs are initiated.

5. Additional Conditions

  • Only repairs performed by AutoForest-approved technicians are covered under warranty.
  • The warranty excludes any damage caused by external power surges, including lightning strikes, short circuits, or misuse.
